The Revolution Circus is a collective and a theme night all wrapped up in an event that features a caravan/troupe of musicians & performers. Expect a line-up of bands, DJs,  freak-shows &  dancers plus a merchandise village.No two nights are entirely the same. The core of the traveling show incorporate local/regional and other nationals from comedy, horror, electronics, punk, glam, folk , occasionally metal to sexy grungy blues and naughty black lace rock & roll.  Almost anything goes.

Depending on the night you attend we will deliver an ultra condensed
75-100 minute cacophony that includes material from all of us
and some  combined mutations. There is even a full blown three hour show that can be delivered as well as an unplugged more family friendly version of our event.

The Revolution Circus began in Washington DC under the banner of the nomadic goth-punk industrial hybrid band  Apocalypse Theatre.  A tattoo and brimstone graffiti and tribe with a penchant for fire & all things intense. They relocated to San Francisco and learned new skills working and playing for the Burning Man festival before planting a home-base in Minneapolis MN..

In recent times Apocalypse Theatre has become one part of a larger animal-The Revolution Circus and in 2012 the first small troupe began touring non-stop and now “La Caravana Revolucion is building energy as it rolls down interstate 35 (aptly retitled Underground 35) and forging a path east on I-90 (underground 90) and south-west through the desert.

We have provided links to the current core acts (Spring 2013) but expect that to change because change is what we do best. They are also available to perform autonomously.

To the tried and true, don’t be shy.  Cross over with us into the wilderness. We need each other to survive, so please help us. Donate your energy and share our energy, because it is time to grow our ranks and be brave. I know you are out there across the lines we draw in our mind.  We need new blood and we are looking for you. We have something to share.  Something to call ours.

 One day in the not too distant future me & the tribe/collective/crew I am a part of will bring back the caravans to the American highways & landscapes . You will know we have arrived when the highways & byways bring us there & we plant our village of machines and freaks around a unique art & curiosity tent that flies a pirate flag and calls out to all those who have felt they do not belong and to all those who are our allies in a cause that does not wear its politics or its faith on its sleeve because we are of too many stripes but united we declare- We are everything.
